Is Anime 2d Or 3d
For a 3d animator while being able to draw well is defiantly an advantage it is not mandatory.
Is anime 2d or 3d. When you re animating in a 3d environment you move the character kinda like a puppet right there on the computer. 3d can work just as well as 2d as long it is properly utilized. Avatar is considered to be 2d animation.
For years traditional animation has used 3d extensively. The usage of cg animation techniques in anime can actually be found as early as the original macross which began airing in 1982. When it comes to presenting a heavily animated action sequence 2d anime is not all that suitable.
I personally believe that 2d anime is better. For years now whether primarily 2d or 3d feature and broadcast animation are a combination of both 2d animation and 3d animation. They are drawn in 2d.
Lets go into details. Examples of 3d animation are toy story jimmy neutron shrek etc. Not because it is a better form of animation but because the anime industry is misusing 3d animation.
In 2d animation you draw the first key pose and then the rest of the key poses.
